Postpartum Care

The People We Choose to Be Our Children Will Inherit.
Mother and Newborn

Babies do not regulate on their own; they borrow regulation through tone of voice, touch, eye contact, and the felt sense of safety in their caregiver's body. The way a mother is held during postpartum directly influences how she can hold her baby. Through attuned care, nervous system support, gentle tracking of stress patterns, and integrative sessions when needed, we create an environment where both mother and baby can settle, bond, and build a foundation of resilience that supports emotional and relationship health for years to come.

The postpartum period is one of the most neurologically sensitive and formative seasons in both a mother's and baby's life. A mother's nervous system is recalibrating after birth-- physically, mentally, emotionally, and hormonally-- while her baby's nervous system is just beginning to organize through connection, rhythm, and co-regulation. When a mother is deeply supported, nourished, and given space to rest and integrate her experience, her body is better able to provide the steady, regulated presence her baby depends on for healthy attachment and development.

Certifications

INNATE Postpartum Practitioner (coming 2026)

This year, I will be completing my certification as an INNATE Postpartum Practitioner, deepening my commitment to evidence-informed, nervous system-centered care for mothers and babies. This training expands my ability to support the mother-baby dyad with grounded knowledge, embodied wisdom, and integrative practices that honor the sacred transition into parenthood.

EVOX Practitioner

As a certified EVOX Practitioner. I am trained in using voice-mapping technology to identify and reframe subconscious stress patterns held within the nervous system. This certification allows me to guide clients through a body-led, attuned process of insight and integration, supporting meaningful shifts in emotional patterns, relationships, and overall well-being.

Doctor of Education

Alongside my certifications, my doctorate in education and years of experience working in public education-- both in the United States and internationally--deeply inform my understanding of children and their nervous systems. Across diverse cultural and learning environments, I learned to see beyond behavior and recognize the stress responses, attachment needs, and relational dynamics shaping shaping each child's experience. This global perspective allows me to support families with insight and compassion, helping parents understand their own and their children's needs, foster co-regulation, and nurture resilience form the foundation of safety and connection.
